Privacy Policy

applyMate4u (“we”, “us”) provides a web application and browser extension to help you work with job postings and your resume. This policy describes how we handle personal information in connection with those services.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you sign in with Google or email-based flows we support, we receive identifiers such as your name, email address, and profile image as provided by the identity provider, and we store what is needed to operate your workspace.
- Resume and career content. Content you upload or enter (for example resumes, tailored outputs, and related metadata) is processed to provide features you request.
- Job posting content. When you use the extension or related features on a job page, text and fields from that page may be sent to our servers to extract structure, keywords, insights, or outputs you initiate (such as cover letters). We process this only to deliver the product features you use.
- Technical data. Standard logs and diagnostics from hosting and security providers (for example IP address, device/browser type, timestamps) may be collected to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
- To authenticate you and maintain your session.
- To provide parsing, tailoring, exports, job tracking, and related features.
- To improve reliability, fix bugs, and protect against abuse.
- To comply with law when required.
AI and service providers
Some features use machine-learning APIs on our servers (for example model providers configured in our backend environment). Content needed for a feature is sent to those providers only to fulfill your request. Secret API keys are not embedded in the browser extension.
Cookies and storage
We use cookies and similar technologies as needed for authentication and core site functionality. The extension may use Chrome storage for small local state required for the side panel (for example cached parse results).
Retention and deletion
We retain information as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of account data where applicable by contacting us using the email below.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with processors who help us run the service (for example hosting, authentication, or AI inference) under contractual safeguards, and when required by law.
Your choices
You may disconnect integrations where the product allows it, stop using the extension, or contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights depending on your region.
